Misses:

Fall Break
The first day of fall break I was at home pretty much the whole day. We had a guy come over and redo my tub area in my bathroom, so my mom and I had to stay here while a guy was doing that. I did homework and entertained my dogs because they were stuck in my parents room. That night I watch the season 12 premiere of Supernatural, which I have be waiting for a long time. It was so good and I am not going to say any more about for those who are starting to watch Supernatural or those who haven't caught up.

The next 3 day my mom, grandmother, and I went to Alabama to see my great aunt. We drove up Friday and it took about 3 hours to get there. In the car I practiced taking motion videos and I worked on a script I'm writing. The next day we all went to the Tanger Outlet. Everybody got something, I got some things from Hot Topic and Zumiez. We were there for about 3 or so hours. The last day we spent some time outside and then we drove back home. When I got home I played with my dogs some and then I started to write this blog.
I did not do much over the break so I was just writing to get the requirement. Like how I mentioned Supernatural and the trip I barely did anything.

Lord of the Flies
Lord of the Flies so far is a very good book. My favorite part about is the word choice and how it is British. Before we started to read Lord of the Flies I had heard of it before and been like this is not a book I might not want to read, now I want to continue. The strange thing about the book is it's reference to pigs, with the pink island with tail, Piggy, all of the pigs on the island and who Jack wants to kill pigs. Another thing it who fear is shown. Fear is show through words and through things that they see or how they act. The snake-thing and the creeper flying the air looking like snake is all strange. I feel like this book will get better as it goes on.

I am not the best when it comes writing about books. I never know exactly how to word things.

Writing Center

When I went to the writing center my writing fellow didn't show up, but someone else came in a helped me. I read my paper out loud which helped me see careless mistakes I had made. She help me feel a bit more confident with my writing and feel like I might do ok on this paper. I made some changes to it and  I still have some to work on but might do better on this paper.

This is a miss because I sat in the writing center until someone could help me. I just wrote this to fulfill the requirement .

Hits:

Music Affects Writing
Depending on the music I am listening to. One of my previous post, Someone, is about a person's perspective on getting stalked and dying. When I was writing that I was listening to Mercy by Shawn Mendes and that made me write about someone asking why me.

When I write while listening to my music, I feel more connected to my thought and what I am writing down. I zone in and concentrate on my piece or homework. While I am writing this I am listen to up music on my Spotify which made me think about all of this. Music helps everyone through their hard times. Music can change people's mood in a few seconds. It can make them cry, joyful, mad, and dance like no one is watching them.  

This is a hit because I was speaking about how I really feel about music. I wrote this passionately everything os true to me and passion is the key.


Frigidness

The winter brings in cold air. That cold air is want keeps people inside or bring them outside. People can feel it to their bones and throughout their entire body. The cold makes people wear their jumpers and trousers. It can bring people together, bring love to strangers. The cold is a way for people to free and alive.

Some like the cold others do not, it brings mixed feelings. It make it good for a boring run but, bad to those who sit around. It makes people want to say inside all day and do nothing. The fear of being cold can be over with once they step out side and see the beauty of the cold and love of it. It is the best when it is only about 10 degrees Celsius. It not too cold to where people don't want to tough the cold air but nice enough to feel energized and wonderful.
 I think that this is a hit because it was fun to try to come up with ways to describe the cold. I also like my use of celsius in this writing.

Pit Bulls

Pit Bulls the most misunderstood dog breed. Pit bull stereotype is aggressive, mean, and them bitting people. They are actually very nice and kind. The mean pit bulls that people meet were trained to be that way, they aren’t born that way. When people are a dog parks or there places where you can pet and meet pit bulls, they never attack anyone. They are also very forgiving.

It kills me to hear when some say pit bull and what say is the stereotype. Pit bulls are used for illegal dog fighting and other horrible things. When people adopt or take in one from the pound they have no clue what that dog has been through or seen. Every time is see pit bull in a shelter I feel so bad for them, it is so sad to see how badly people treat these dogs. When all they want to do is live a good life and make you happy.
I know this one is a hit because it is something present in the world today and it is something that bothers me. This post let me let out how I feel about this topic.
